Podgorica will soon be adorned with another mural which is to be painted on the amphitheatre near the Military Buildings. The new street art expression will be inspired by the idea of the Bauhaus movement, which is synonymous with courageous directions in art, architecture and design. Based on the colours which define this movement, expression symbolised by red, blue and yellow, while on the other hand, a calming note will be given by black, which, along with the basic colours, is ubiquitous in the Bauhaus palette.

The idea is to provide for the city a modern and urban scene, similar to those that we can see in world’s big metropolises, with the aim of presenting an artistic style to the citizens of Podgorica with each painted public area. Thanks to this project, art has moved from indoors onto the streets, and thus has become available to everyone, which is a magnificent form of education even outside the museums, classrooms and studios.

We would to like to remind that, thanks to the effort and inspiration of several Montenegrin artists, Moskovski Bridge, Zrtve 5.Maja Bridge, the banks of the River Ribnica near the "Karver" bookstore, V Proleterske Brigade Street and the "Gazela" pedestrian bridge have been given a new appearance.
