In accordance with the decision of the mayor, Dr. Ivan Vukovic, the Capital City of Podgorica will donate €10,000 to the City of Novi Pazar as an expression of solidarity and support to its citizens in the fight against the coronavirus. According to latest official data, 46 people have lost their lives and there have been over 500 active cases, while the number of hospitalised exceeds 200 in this city in the last two months.

Faced with this situation, we would like to announce that Podgorica will firmly support the friendly city of Novi Pazar in joint fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

We would like to remind that the Capital City has already financially assisted the Chinese Province of Sichuan in the procurement of medical equipment in the previous period, as well as Tirana and Zagreb in facing the consequences of the devastating earthquakes which hit these two cities.
