Ribnica’s riverbed cleaned up

 The workers of the city Čistoća, although being more difficult at this time of year, removed waste from the banks and from the riverbed of Ribnica in the previous three days. The cleaning was carried out partially, and the stretch from Brijeg Ćuković to the Health Center Nova Varoš was completely cleaned.

During the action, 110 bags of various municipal waste were removed from the mentioned area, as well as a certain amount of bulky waste - remnants of old furniture, wood waste, etc., and in addition to these works, Čistoća teams removed leaves from the promenade from the Kapadžić Bridge around the bookstore Karver as well as the area of Sastavci.

Unfortunately, the Ribnica riverbed, despite our numerous appeals and a large number of cleaning actions, is still used by unscrupulous individuals to dispose various types of waste.

We will remind you that, in order to prevent the penetration of waste towards the coast of Morača - Sastavci, we set up two protective barriers in the previous period - under Tabački and under the Kapadžić bridges.

Our intention is to encourage changes in the unscrupulous behavior of individuals with all these actions, with another appeal that, by disposing of waste in places designated for it, we can together preserve the beauty of our rivers.
