Podgorica offers a favorable environment for investment of American companies and investors

Deputy Mayor Časlav Vešović and the manager of the Capital, Marjan Junčaj, talked with the regional director of U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC), John Jovanović. The meeting was attended by representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, Kyle Hatcher and Marina Milić, as well as the head of the International Cooperation Service of the Capital, Ljiljana Šćepanović.

During the meeting, Vešović and Junčaj presented to the guests the investment and development potentials of Podgorica, which offer various opportunities for capital investing and establishing partnerships.

Deputy Mayor Vešović emphasized the potential of business zones within which a special package of incentive measures for investing and organizing business has been prepared, emphasizing that the formed business zones are very attractive from the aspect of connecting potential financial funds with investors.

DFC Regional Director, John Jovanović, based on the presented investment potentials of the Montenegrin capital, pointed out that Podgorica is very attractive for investment and that in the coming period will work together to attract U.S. investment and interested companies that could potentially be partners in realization of projects that will enable further development of Podgorica.

The interlocutors agreed that on the basis of successful talks, they will continue intensive communication with the aim of concretizing the agreed activities.
