Vuković in Zeta: All planned projects have been successfully implemented and assumptions have been created for the continuation of dynamic development of the Zeta settlement

The Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković, Ph.D. and the President of the Municipality within the Capital-Golubovci, Tanja Stajović, today visited several important projects that were implemented in the past in Zeta, namely the completed fourth phase of the reconstruction of the road Golubovci, Mataguži, a new children's playground in Bijelo Polje, as well as a sports ground in Berislavci. Mayor Vuković also visited Lukić family, whose house recently burned down in a fire, and promised that the Capital will help to repair the damage.
The Mayor emphasized that the last year was very successful for the Capital, regardless of all the challenges, and that this success is especially evident in Golubovci.
"We had a fantastic year, thanks to that, we have a new infrastructure in this area today, the most important road for this part of the city, but not only that, we got over 10 km of new water supply network, we got new polygons and new children's playgrounds. So, slowly but surely, Golubovci, i.e. Zeta, is becoming one of the most beautiful places to live ", the mayor emphasized and pointed out that the capital budget of the Municipality within the Capital Golubovci exceeds the capital budget of most municipalities in Montenegro, which is why he is proud to announce that it will be like that next year also.
"We have already defined a priority plan, which includes the continuation of the reconstruction of this road, so we are moving towards Mataguži and many more projects that will mean a new quality of life for people living in this part of Podgorica, a new town square, a new market, a home for the elderly, preconditions are slowly but surely being created for us to complete a beautiful story and for Zeta, i.e. Golubovci, to get everything they need in order for people in this area to live a quality life of the 21st century. None of this would have been possible if we did not have the relationship we had with the leadership of the Municipality within the Capital, Golubovci", Mayor Vuković said, adding that sometimes projects and money are in vain if you do not have people who will work in the field and provide all conditions realization of such projects.
"This is a huge merit of both President Stajović and the President of the Assembly Mr. Stijepović, so without their contribution we would not be able to state today that we got another section of this reconstructed road and much more that we have achieved this year on the territory of municipality within the Capital. I thank them for the partnership and as far as the Capital is concerned, our relationship will be the same next year as it has been so far ", the Mayor concluded, expressing special gratitude to all companies that contributed, as well as the previous Government. "We had a great cooperation with them and the financial contribution in the realization of such and similar projects was huge and somewhere I hope that the new Government will continue on this path in the interest of the citizens of Zeta and Podgorica", Vuković concluded.
The President of the Municipality within the Capital, Golubovci, Tanja Stajović, announced that the largest capital project is the reconstruction of the road Golubovci-Mataguži, which is worth €894,000, within which 220 meters of side streets were asphalted, while €135,000 were set aside for the reconstruction of the bridge.
"We also visited the children's playground in Bijelo Polje, which has an area of 1,100 m2, worth €27,000, and which was built in cooperation with Zelenilo and the Housing Agency. Of course, thanks to Putevi and the Zeta sports club, we also completed the training ground in Berislavci, worth around €24,000. What is a special pleasure is that we have made a budget proposal for next year such that we can continue with all works and capital projects, so I hope that at the end of this month, when the budget is adopted, we will immediately start with new projects, all with the aim of better living conditions of our citizens ", Tanja Stajović said.
