"Many people from the business world and entrepreneurs have felt the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and unfortunately, as a result, we have lost a large number of jobs in Podgorica and Montenegro. With that in mind, we in the city administration have tried to help as much as possible those who employ a huge number of our fellow citizens and one of the priorities certaintly are caterers", Vuković said, emphasizing that hospitality is a very important industry, not only for Podgorica, but also for every city.

He said that he was satisfied that a contract on financial support of the Capital in the total amount of €80,000 was signed with 56 caterers.

"In this way, we try to help them overcome this difficult period and consolidate, all with the hope that next year will bring benefits to all of us", Mayor said, thanking the caterers for their understanding and trust.

He pointed out that the overwhelming majority of caterers represented the Capital's allies in the fight against the spread of coronavirus and that they thus demonstrated a high level of social responsibility and professionalism, so the Capital's administration found a way to thank them and said they would such and similar initiatives will be in the coming period, not only when it comes to caterers but also all the people who employ the citizens of Podgorica.

On behalf of Podgorica's caterers, Savo Vujović thanked the Capital for its support and pointed out that in this difficult moment for all citizens of Montenegro, this help means a lot and expressed his belief that next year will be better and more successful.
