Representatives of the Secretariat for Social Welfare and the Center for the Rights of the Child presented New Year's packages to the Day Care Center for Children and Youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Secretary of the Secretariat for Social Welfare Ivan Terzić and representatives of the Center for the Rights of the Child of Montenegro handed over New Year's packages to the Public Institution Day Care Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities in Podgorica, and at the initiative of children who use various programs space of this public institution.

The action in the community was realized through the project Center for Support of Children and Families (Day Care Center) which is supported through the IPA II program, joint program for Montenegro and the EU, and refers to employment, education and social protection, which is implemented through the Directorate and contracting EU assistance and the Directorate for Programming and Implementation of EU Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare.

The children showed a special sensibility and commitment to their peers through this action and they showed that this is a time of giving, friendship and equality. They made sure that the children of the Day Care Center enjoyed the New Year's creations that were prepared for them with special care and love.

The action was realized in accordance with the prescribed epidemiological measures, and there was no joint gathering of children from the Center for the Rights of the Child with the children of the Public Institution Daily Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities-Podgorica.
