Arrangement of the pedestrian zone in front of "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium has begun

Works on arranging the pedestrian zone in front of the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium started today and the deadline for the completion of works is 90 days. The project envisages the conversion of the existing road into a pedestrian area with printed concrete, with the possibility of passage for emergency vehicles. The pedestrian area is 12.35 meters wide and 130.55 meters long. The contracted value is EUR 282,414.99, and the contractor is "Grand design" from Podgorica.

From the accompanying infrastructure, the construction of water supply, fecal and atmospheric sewage, electrical installations of strong and weak current is planned. The equipment consists of concrete benches, stainless steel pillars, an underground container and lighting. Also, the reconstruction envisages greening of the space and the formation of a new tree line next to the gymnasium fence.

We remind you that a part of Vaka Đurovića Street (from the entrance to the parking lot of the Emergency Centre Institute to the entrance to the yard of the Slobodan Škerović High School) was previously turned into a pedestrian zone.
