Secretariat for culture and sport of the Capital donated equipment to football clubs
20/01/2021Today, the Assistant Secretary for Culture and Sports of the Capital, Miloš Antić, and his associates handed over the equipment to the football clubs from the area of the Capital, which play in the Central Football Region (Football Association of Montenegro FSCG).
In the future, seniors of football clubs will wear jerseys, shorts and gaiters of the famous Spanish brand Joma on the fields throughout Montenegro: Adria, Ribnica, Crvena stijena, Zabjelo, Karioke and Mladost Donja Gorica.
"With this donation, we wanted to help clubs from the lowest rank of the competition that are having a hard time, especially since the beginning of the Covid 19 virus pandemic, they are finding a way to survive and find sponsors. I am sure that much bigger and more organized clubs will envy their equipment. This is one of the ways in which the Secretariat for Culture and Sports of the Capital shows clubs that they have not been forgotten and is another one in a series of actions to help our sports teams", Antić pointed out and stated that the next action will be aimed at helping Karate clubs from Podgorica.
Secretary of the Football Association of Montenegro FSCG Momo Saveljić thanked the Capital and the Secretariat for Culture and Sports on behalf of the clubs.
"Great gratitude to the Secretariat and this is another indicator of our great cooperation and care for the Capital and the "smaller" football clubs. I hope that other municipalities will follow the path of Podgorica and that our clubs will survive in this difficult time and, as always, will be the right base for bigger clubs and later top achievements", Saveljić said.
