The Capital is giving textbooks to all first-graders of Podgorica this year as well

The Capital and the Secretariat for Social Welfare have allocated funds in the amount of €115,000 this year for assigning the free textbooks to the first graders of Podgorica.

In this way, we continue the good practice, in cooperation with the line ministries, so that all children who attend the first grade of primary school on the territory of the Capital receive free textbooks. Part of the funds will be set aside for the purchase of school supplies for elementary school students of lower financial status.

We remind you that the Capital has set aside more than € 600,000 in the past six years, and in that way over 12,000 first-grade students  received free textbooks, and more than 2,000 children from low-income families received financial aid for the purchase of school supplies.
