The Capital announces a competition for support of women entrepreneurship this year as well

This year, the capital Podgorica invites entrepreneurs and companies in which women are business owners to apply for a competition for the distribution of funds intended for women who want to start or develop their own business.
The competition for support to women's entrepreneurship was announced today and will be open for 45 days, and it is aimed at women entrepreneurs and companies in which women are business owners, i.e. the founder or one of the founders and executive director, with residence or headquarters in Podgorica.
The funds provided by the budget of the Capital for this year in the amount of EUR 20,000 are distributed for business plans which especially encourage the economic development of Podgorica, agriculture and rural areas, organic agricultural production and tourism.
Also, these business plans should encourage the development of hunting and fishing and physical culture and sports, as well as contribute to the affirmation and valorization of cultural potential and tradition and the preservation of the environment and sustainable development.
The maximum amount of funds allocated for business plans may not exceed 25% of the total amount provided for in the Capital's budget to support women's entrepreneurship. The company, that is, the entrepreneur, can apply for the total amount or for a part of the funds for the realization of activities from the business plan and is obliged to indicate that. Entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and who plan to develop their business in a sealed envelope submit the documentation that is described in detail in the public competition that was published on the website of the Capital (Oglasna tabla).
The commission will distribute the funds on the basis of the received applications for the competition in accordance with the defined criteria.
