New led lighting in Studentska Street

Within the project of modernization of public lighting on the territory of the Capital, Communal Services Ltd. have completed works on the reconstruction of public lighting in Studentska Street, which is one of the busiest streets in City kvart. At the mentioned location, 28 energy inefficient lamps were replaced with new modern LED lamps, and the value of this investment is around EUR 12,000.

We remind you that on the recently built part of the extensions of Baku Street (until the junction with Studentska Street), in accordance with the design recommendations, construction and maintenance of public lighting on the territory of the Capital, for a technical solution for public lighting also installed modern lamps with LED light sources.

Furthermore, the rest of the previously built Baku Street, which has sodium light sources, is planned to replace the existing lamps with new LED lamps in order to complete the part from the intersection with Mihaila Lalića Boulevard in Blok V to the roundabout on Radoja Dakića Boulevard near the Delta City shopping center with modern LED lighting.

In this way, the quality of lighting will be further improved at this part, and thus the level of safety of all traffic participants will be increased, while savings in electricity consumption of over 60% will be achieved.
