Within the broad platform of the mechanism of cooperation between China and CEES (17 + 1), 5th Summit of local leaders was held on Friday in an online format, with participation of  the City manager Marjan Junčaj in front of the Capital City.

Liaoning Province and the city of Shenyang as an organiser sent an invitation to mayors or city representatives from 17+1 mechanism to participate, expressing hope that the summit will contribute to improvement of cooperation between China and CEES countries at the local level.

The event should serve as a platform for strengthening the mechanisms of cooperation between CEES and China, on this year’s topic “Work together for common development and a shared future”, improving cooperation in the field of economy, science, technology, education and culture between cities, as well as further development of mutual understanding and friendship.

Summit of „Local leaders of China and CEE countries“  is considered a good opportunity for cities to expand the network of their business cooperation in many fields.
