Reckless drivers and unadjusted speed have recently caused a lot of damage to green spaces in the city.

The last such incident occured two days ago at the May 21 Boulevard  when an unknown driver destroyed the lawn and a very valuable olive tree in the roundabout which has recently been landscaped.

We remind that situations like this are not uncommon, because unfortunately in a similar way green spaces were destroyed at the roundabouts in Moskovska Street and at the intersection of the Bracana Bracanovića Street and Šarl de Gol Boulevard, as well as the dividing island on the Sveti Petar Cetinjski Boulevard, but situations alike occur at other locations in Podgorica too, due to the negligent parking of automobiles.  

We hereby take this opportunity to appeal to drivers to adjust their speed to the road and weather conditions and to conscientiously treat green spaces so that we can invest funds and time in new landscaping of Podgorica instead of in their rehabilitation.
