The third segment of the bridge construction has been installed: Podgorica will soon get a new pedestrian bridge

By setting up the third segment of the pedestrian pipeline bridge, which is being done within the Podgorica Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project with the aim of connecting the old and the new plant, the banks of the Morača River are connected at another part of its course. This is the most technically and time-consuming part of the work on the bridge, and the remaining works relate to the upper slab of the bridge and installations.

The pedestrian pipeline bridge on Morača, with a total length of about 125 meters, will be used to transfer the hydraulic installation from the right to the left bank of the river, that is for the implementation of infrastructure pipelines - two sewer collectors (DN1000) and steel water pipes (DN800).

On the upper panel, there will be a centrally positioned pedestrian path 3.2 meters wide, as well as two side bicycle paths one meter wide each. The bridge will be equipped with appropriate urban infrastructure, functional and decorative lighting, drainage system and will be adapted for people with disabilities.

Works on this part of the project for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, worth EUR 1.9 million, are being performed by the company Bemax.
