Stari Aerodrom and Konik will get new park areas soon

Podgorica's settlements Stari aerodrom and Konik will soon get new park areas. On the area of over 6,000 m2 in Aerodromska Street in Stari Aerodrom, a new park area will be formed, on which over 100 adult seedlings of different types of trees will be planted, a lawn will be formed on about 3,500 m2 and lower ornamental plants will be planted.

A new children's playground on a safe rubber surface will be built in this area, new sports ground and fitness area. In addition, this park area will be painted on the edges with children's - didactic motifs that will make children think and awake their imagination and creativity.

The existing concrete and sand paths will be reconstructed, while the existing furniture with a specific appearance will be renovated, so the polygonal concrete structures will be repaired and lined with new battens. Also, another 28 new park benches and 12 waste baskets and two sets of tables with benches on a decking base intended for a peaceful rest will be installed. Irrigation of the park, which will be completely covered by the irrigation system, will be done from a new well, and new lighting will be installed in the park. Also, thanks to the engagement of the city company Zelenilo, Konik settlement will soon get a new park area as well. On an area of 7,000 m2 on the corner of Husinjskih rudara Street and Drvarska Street, a new park area will be built with a children's playground and accompanying contents: a plateau, paths, park furniture, new seedlings of trees, shrubs and other ornamental plants, as well as an irrigation system.

In this way, the Capital once again shows that it takes care of the needs of the citizens of the Stari Aerodrom and Konik and all other parts of Podgorica, and everything with the aim of raising the quality of life.
