Public invitation for subsidization of owner dog sterilization announced: Sterilize your pet with the subsidies of the Capital

The Capital announced a public call for applications for the allocation of funds to subsidize the sterilization of owner dogs whose owners are from Podgorica. The goal of the allocation of funds is to ensure the reduction of uncontrolled breeding of pets, as well as the reduction of the number of homeless dogs on the territory of Podgorica.

The Capital has provided €10,000 in the 2021 budget, which will subsidize the sterilization of owners’ dogs from Podgorica. In the first round of subsidies, citizens will be allocated funds in the amount of €5,000, and in the second round of subsidies will be allocated another €5,000 (second half of the current year). The applicant who meets the conditions prescribed by the competition receives funds in the amount of 50% of the total price of sterilization, up to a maximum of €75.00.

The application for the Public Invitation must contain: a form (request for a subsidy), a copy of the ID card, an offer from the veterinary clinic in the form of a pro forma invoice with a specified specification, photocopy of dog passport (pages with general data, chip number and vaccination data). The application must be complete or contain all the above documentation.

The deadline for submitting the application is fifteen days from the day of publishing this Public Invitation, concluding on March 10, 2021.
