The Coordinator of the Commission for the Protection and Improvement of the Health of Citizens of Podgorica, Nebojsa Kavaric, MD, PhD,  participated in the third online EU Summit on HCV-related policies, in order to ensure the European Union's wider commitment to eradicating Hepatitis C.

The summit was attended by the members of the European Parliament, mayors of European cities, academics, health experts and politicians, informing the participants about current activities and concrete results that have been achieved in recent years as regards the Hepatitis C virus.

In the period to come, Podgorica will be dedicated to the improvement of the environment through various activities and cooperation with the civil sector, in order to improve the position of the patients and make greater steps when it comes to education and prevention.
