A new shine of one of the most prominent symbols of Podgorica, The Millennium Bridge receives modern LED lighting

The lighting on the Millennium Bridge, one of the most prominent symbols of Podgorica, has been replaced after 15 years. The city company Communal services has completed the first phase of the reconstruction of decorative lighting, within which the old reflectors have been replaced with 53 new LED reflectors, and the value of this investment is around € 60,000.

In the following period, Communal services will continue with the modernization of lighting on this bridge, so in the next phase, new installations and devices will be installed that will enable the management of decorative lighting on the bridge, as well as the creation of visual effects for special occasions.

We remind you that the Communal Services have been working on the modernization of decorative lighting on bridges and monuments in the past period, and that they will continue with such and similar actions in order to make our city more beautiful and safer.

We appeal to our fellow citizens to protect this valuable infrastructure, especially when it comes to public and decorative lighting, which, in addition to directly affecting the safety of all traffic participants, highlights and emphasizes the architecture of individual buildings.
