A new polygon reconstructed in the heart of the forest Ljubović

The mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vukovic, PhD, and his associates visited the reconstructed training ground on the hill Ljubovic today. On that occasion, the city administration played a friendly basketball game with the residents of Zabjelo in order to promote healthy lifestyles.

The reconstructed polygon was fenced with a fence 4.3 meters high, new furniture was installed and the terrain was marked. The chief administrator of the Capital, Vuksan Vuksanović, said that over € 15,000 had been spent for this purpose.

"Today we are on Ljubović hill, it is my pleasure to present what we have done in the previous month. We reconstructed this sports ground, set up new baskets, a new fence. The Capital has set aside about € 15,000 for this reconstruction. This is an ideal space for basketball and basket. We invite our fellow citizens to come to this field and enjoy the revitalized hill Ljubović" said Chief Administrator Vuksanović.

We remind you that the Capital, in cooperation with the city companies, recently started the project of revitalization of the park-forest Ljubović with the aim of enriching this place with new contents. In that sense, the city company "Zelenilo" worked diligently on the implementation of the planned activities, which primarily referred to mowing, fire protection, and 40 seedlings of deciduous and coniferous trees were recently planted. In order to improve the conditions for the stay, rest and recreation of citizens in the park-forest Ljubović in the previous days, a new park furniture was installed - 15 park benches, 8 waste baskets and a drinking fountain. In the previous period, the Utility teams replaced the existing lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting, and they also worked on cleaning, protecting and painting the public lighting poles.
