City senior card will provide number of benefits to older citizens

The Secretary of the Secretariat for Social Welfare of the Capital city of Podgorica, Ivan Terzić, and the President of the Association of Pensioners of Podgorica, Ilija Stanišić, within the implementation of the City Senior Card project, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

For this new social service, which will enable older citizens to get discounts on a large number of products and services in the territory of Podgorica, from the budget of the Capital for 2020, € 50,000 have been allocated.

Senior cards will contribute to the improvement of the standards of pensioners and elderly fellow citizens, and this is also a way for the Capital to once again express its responsibility and gratitude to the elderly, for the contribution they provide to the community.

The signatories of the Memorandum agree to achieve and encourage close cooperation on the project "City Senior Card", to jointly promote the project, to cooperate on a partnership basis in all areas where there is interest of senior citizens and the community, guided by the principle of equal opportunities for everyone.
