The yard of the elementary school Savo Pejanović will be arranged within the project micro 020

Within the project Micro 020, which includes the arrangement of urban "pockets" on the territory of the Capital, a conceptual solution for the arrangement of the yard of Savo Pejanović Elementary School was made.

By arranging this space, the goal is to adapt it to the needs of the students of Savo Pejanović Elementary School so that they can enjoy a green oasis inspired by the natural beauties of Podgorica.  In addition to a more practical applications of the new structure, greater safety of children spending time in the yard stands out.

The project is inspired by the natural specificity of the geographical position of Podgorica, and the emphasis is on the fact that five rivers flow through the core of the city.

Podgorica as a city "lying on five rivers" is represented by trails of different colors, with each trail symbolizing one of the rivers. At the junction of the trails, which are inspired by the colors of the Morača and Ribnica rivers, a stepped seating structure has been designed that shows the favorite place of the people of Podgorica - Skaline. In addition to the symbolism of the five rivers of Podgorica, the relief of a canyon which is characteristic for the river flows in the form of elevated greenery was improvised. The installation of a bicycle parking lot is also planned and this area is paved with Morača’s stone, which represents the symbolism of the beaches in the inner part of the city.

As a reminder, this is eighteenth location on the territory of the Capital that will be arranged through the Micro 020 project. The conceptual solution for arranging the yard of the Savo Pejanović Elementary School was made by the team of the NRA Atelier company.
