The Capital is announcing another competition that will support equality policy and provide an opportunity to create new jobs

The Capital has allocated funds in the amount of € 20.000 to support entrepreneurs and companies in which women are business owners and which are registred in the territory of Podgorica. The third competition for the support of women's entrepreneurship will be announced tomorrow and all details of the competition will be published on a portal of the Capital  www.podgorica.me  as well as in the daily newspaper "Pobjeda". 

Given that the results of the previous two competitions were more than successful and that the female entrepreneurs showed interest, the Capital city decided to continue with this type of support. As a responsible city administration, we are aware of how important it is for the development of the community to help women actualize their business ideas and thus improve their position in a society through the financial independence. The competition for the allocation of the funds will be open for 45 days from the day of publication. The application  for the competition is submitted to the Comission on the prescribed Form and is submitted to the office of the Capital.

The application of the interested parties submitted to the competition for the support of business development in Stara Varoš, which is being realized at the same time, as well as the applications of the winners from the previous competition for support to women's entrepreneurship, will not be considered. 

The five-member comission will decide on the distribution of funds on the basis of the competition. The funds allocated for this project will support business plans that encourage the development of agriculture and rural areas, encourage the development of organic agricultural production, development of tourism, hunting and fishing, contribute to the affirmation of cultural potential, development of physical culture and sports, as well as environmental protection.

We remind you that so far the right for the support of women's entrepreneurship has been exercised by 21 candidates, and on that account the Capital has helped the development of women's entrepreneurship, contributed to the policy of gender equality and enabled the creation of new jobs.
