The number of applications for the competition for support to entrepreneurs in Stara Varoš above expectations

The competition for support of business ideas in the area of the city settlement, Stara Varoš, which was announced by the Capital recently, ended with a great interest from fellow citizens.

The invitation was open to all natural and legal persons with permanent residence, i.e. residence in the territory of Podgorica, who want to start or develop their business in Stara Varoš. Twenty-five applications have been received, which will be considered by the Commission in the coming days, which will decide on the best business solutions.

We remind you that the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the Budget of the Capital for 2020, plans grants in the amount of EUR 50,000 for the implementation of business ideas that encourage economic development and production in Stara Varoš; development of craft, catering and trade activities and development of tourism; preservation of the environment and sustainable development, as well as affirmation and valorization of the cultural potential, traditions and cultural peculiarities of this part of Podgorica.
