Coastal landscaping in Rogami has begun

As part of the Mikro 020 project, the company Bemax started performing works on the arrangement of the beach under the viaduct in Rogami. It is a donation of the mentioned company to the Capital, whose most responsible representatives have expressed a wish, taking into account that the mentioned location is a popular picnic area for the citizens of Podgorica, to fully participate in its adaptation and modernization. As part of the landscaping, a plateau will be built under the viaduct intended for parking for visitors to this picnic area, as well as retaining walls and grills. The walls and grills will be lined with stone, while the parking lot will be made of fine-grained gravel. The works will be completed in six months at the latest, and the aim is to bring this location to the satisfaction of our citizens, the Capital and Bemax as soon as possible. The value of the donation is around EUR 200,000.

We remind you that one of the strategic commitments of the Capital City Administration is to revive and revitalize all traditional gathering places of the  citizens of Podgorica, and Podgorica’s  beaches,especially, were the favorite places of our fellow citizens, especially in the 1960s. In this regard, the Capital recently launched a project to revitalize Podgorica's beaches as places with great touristic and development potential, when the arrangement of beaches on Sastavci, Labud beach (also - Galeb), as well as beaches in Rogami was announced. The arrangement of the location on Sastavci has been completed, so this summer the beach along Morača was one of the favorite picnic spots for the citizens of Podgorica and all nature lovers. The continuation of the realization of this project will show full justification and we believe that all beaches of Podgorica  in the coming period will be properly valorized and arranged in accordance with the needs of citizens.
